Fibre and Stripping Discs
What are flap discs?
Flap discs are made from layers of abrasive cloth consisting of abrasive material. The abrasive cloth is angled on a supporting plate and last up to 10 times longer than conventional fibre discs. For use on wood, metal, painted surfaces and masonry. As the material wears away it exposes a new, fresh face of abrasive therefore achieving much higher material removal. Flap discs are particularly effective for rust removal and general finishing.
What are fibre discs?
Fibre discs are round grinding wheels with a backing made of fibre that is coated on one side with resin and abrasive grain. Fibre discs are fitted to suitable backing pads and used on angle grinders, predominantly for machining metal.
What are strip and clean wheels? (Also known as stripping wheels)
Clean and strip discs provides a unique combination of aggressive performance, long life and superior finish on stainless steel and metal.
What are conditioning roloc discs?
Surface conditioning discs are non-woven abrasives, made of open nylon webbed discs. They are typically helpful in removing surface materials on surfaces such as metal, ceramics, plastic, or glass. They allow you to prepare a surface for finishing, deburring, leveling, or blending.
