The 15-hole configuration enables you to line up the Base Cut disc with extraction vents in most brands of 150mm disc sander. These include Bosch, DeWALT and Metabo etc, whether it is a 6, 7, 8 or 9-hole backing pad. All Base Cut Discs have a hook and loop backing. Mirka Base Cut Discs have a semi open aluminium oxide coating, which offers excellent non-clogging performance. The discs are long lasting, making them a very good all round sanding material. They are efficient with a high initial aggressive cut; their durability helps to minimise costs. Base Cut is ideally suited to a wide variety of applications, including sanding of wood and composites. Base Cut is an aluminium oxide abrasive with a resin bond on a D-weight paper backing.
